TIPS:

How to heat your tortillas

Stovetop/griddle – For best results, place a single tortilla on an ungreased skillet or griddle over medium heat. Turn tortilla until soft and warmed through and lightly golden brown.

Oven – Wrap tortillas in aluminum foil and warm at 350 degrees F for 5 – 10 minutes or until soft and flexible.

Microwave – Place single tortilla between two paper towels. Heat on high for approximately 20 seconds. Do not microwave tortillas in package.

If your tortillas have been stored in the refrigerator:

Refrigerated flour tortillas – Microwave a single tortilla on a microwave-safe plate between two paper towels for 20 seconds or a stack of six tortillas for 35 seconds. Carefully remove towels and use tortillas immediately.

Refrigerated corn tortillas – Microwave a single tortilla on a microwave-safe plate between two damp paper towels for 30 seconds or a stack of six tortillas for 45 seconds. Carefully remove towels and use tortillas immediately.

How we roll:

Burrito rolling – Warm the tortilla to make it more pliable. Add desired ingredients and fold in right and left edges of the tortilla. Next, fold the bottom edge toward the center and gently roll the rest of the tortilla until wrapped tightly around filling.

Wrap rolling – If wraps have been stored in the refrigerator, allow to warm to room temperature before assembling the wrap.

Open-ended wrap rolling – Lay down a single tortilla or wrap and add desired ingredients. First, fold in bottom edge then roll the tortilla or wrap from one side to the other, leaving the top open.
